Hi! I’m Saj, a dental hygiene practitioner and graduate of UBC, where I earned my Bachelor of Dental Science in Dental Hygiene. I’m passionate about creating a welcoming and comfortable experience for every patient—whether it’s your first visit or your regular check-up. I believe that prevention and patient empowerment are key, and I value building long-term relationships with my patients.
I love connecting with people and chatting about just about anything—from dental care to dogs (especially mine—Dexter!), coffee, travel, and food. Outside the clinic, you’ll often find me on the softball field—I’ve been playing since I was four years old, and crocheting a variety of projects!
I look forward to meeting you and helping you feel confident in your smile.

Mystica holds a UBC Bachelor of Dental Science in Dental Hygiene. Prior to becoming a dental hygiene practitioner in 2020, she was a certified dental assistant since 2013. Her mother was a dentist in the Philippines, inspiring her (and several of her sisters) to enter the dental field.
Mystica is passionate about providing client-centred preventative care with overall health in mind. She wants to help her clients maintain a healthy smile both in the clinic, and at home through friendly, educational conversations.
Outside of Pearl, Mystica cares about public health, environmental sustainability, and creating awareness of dental hygienists’ abilities as primary health care providers. She loves yoga, but often needs a push to practice it. She also loves food, but usually lets the camera eat first.
